Live music, fireworks, holidays, family activities – Fireside has year-round special events and themed weekends that deliver the fun no matter the season. Always check our online calendar when planning your trip, as popular holidays and events fill up early (especially cabins). You can book up to a year and a half in advance!

We had the pleasure of staying at Fireside four times this summer. This past week we met two hard working employees while we were at the pool. We witnessed Spencer and Jacin staying busy in the summer heat to keep the campground in pristine condition. After a crazy fun filled Saturday night with a large crowd for Thomas Cain, these guys were back the next morning in their work truck helping prepare for the new construction project that started Monday. Kudos to the maintenance crew and their efforts to ensure the campers have a great camping experience! Kenny & Mary

Great getaway for relaxing and enjoying the pool and lazy river
This is a hidden gem! What a wonderful RV campsite! The RV spots are large, leveled and beautiful located between the trees that provide much welcome shade during the summer months. The pool and lazy river are great and the bathrooms are very well accessible and clean. This way this campsite is set up, with trees all over the place and roomy spots, makes it feel so much nicer and cozier than the other RV campsites around it (yes, we visited those too). I would especially recommend this campsite to everyone that is looking for a peaceful, family focused experience. If camping for you is all about drinking in/around the pool, play loud music and driving around in your golf cart, you better book one of the other RV campings around Hammond.
We stayed 6 nights and will definitely be going back. The campground is very clean the staff is excellent and I loved having trees. The pads are gravel but they are level and you have plenty of green space to relax at your campsite. Scott cruises the park daily to make sure everyone is having a great time. See you in December
