Many of you already know me – I’m Scott Sandage, owner of Fireside RV Resort. You’ll often see me and my son Logan (General Manager) walking around, talking to campers and getting to know our guests. Live music, fireworks, holidays, family activities – Fireside has year-round special events and themed weekends that deliver the fun no matter the season. Always check our online calendar when planning your trip, as popular holidays and events fill up early (especially cabins). You can book up to a year and a half in advance!

Five stars and an easy recommendation. Fireside RV Resort in Ponchatoula is what I’d call paradise among the pines. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place felt like a vacation instead of just an RV stop. The lazy river was the star of the show for our family. The kids practically lived in it from morning until night and never wanted to leave. It was clean, relaxing, and honestly one of the coolest amenities we’ve seen at an Rv resort. For the adults, the swim-up bar right off the lazy river was a game changer. Being able to float over and grab a drink for my wife and I without ever leaving the water made relaxation way too easy. Whoever designed this place clearly understood the assignment. The entire property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by towering pines, and has a peaceful resort atmosphere that makes it easy to forget about the outside world. Whether you're floating the lazy river, enjoying the pools, or simply relaxing by the water, there’s something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was quick and effortless, and everyone we encountered made us feel right at home. We were having such a great time that we actually extended our stay because we weren't ready to leave. If you're looking for a place to unwind, make family memories, and enjoy resort-style amenities while RVing, Fireside RV Resort is hard to beat. We will absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone traveling through Louisiana. Five stars all day long. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My wife and I love coming here. We love our bartender, Stephanie. She makes amazing drinks and is very friendly. Excellent customer service. Mr. Scott is very friendly and talks to all of the campers every single time we have come here. He makes sure everyone is well taken care of. Definitely makes everyone feel like family.
This is the best campground. My wife and I love coming here it is the perfect get away. Perfect campground and even better bar service, we love Stephanie and Mr.Scott!
Best camping place ever
My aunt & I were excited to use her rv for the first time & Fireside Resort was the best first experience. The resort is clean & the bath houses are spacious & clean, as well. Kelsey at the front desk was so amazing & helpful. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time so we did not get to experience the pool & lazy river which is why we chose this place. So we will definitely be going back.
